Aum Sri Sai Ram Report on Disaster Management Training conducted on 16th and 17th March 2024 at Jadcherla, Mahbubnagar District. By Divine blessings of Swami, the Disaster Management Training program was conducted with the excellent support and active participation by DP, Mahbubnagar, Convenor, Jadcherla and the district team. The program commenced with prayers to Bhagawan by chanting Vedam, singing soulful Bhajans and doing Jyothi Prajwalana. Sri. Saibabu garu, District President, Mahbubnagar welcomed the participants and Trainers, and exhorted the participants to learn the DM techniques thoroughly so that rapid action can be taken during any accident or disaster. The office bearers evinced keen interest and made all the arrangements flawlessly. The prescribed lessons were covered in two days including theory/demo of Natural Disasters, Disaster Response actions, Critical First Aid, Team formation, Knots, Emergency Rescue Techniques, Rescue from heights I.e., Chair knot method demos, Water Rescue techniques, Fire Fighting and demo of common 4 types of Fire Extinguishers. It was attended by 16 enthusiastic participants from 2 districts. The Water Rescue techniques were conducted in a swimming pool. The training sessions were conducted by Sri. Vishnu, Sri. Prem Sai and Sri. Krishna Kumar. During the valedictory address, DP, Mahbubnagar asked the trainees to practice the learnt techniques well, to conduct programs in the district, and be prepared for DM seva if any need arise.
